While the Phillips Shoes has been in business for almost
40 years, the Templeton family has owned and operated the business a couple of years ago. Before the building was Phillips
Shoes, it had also been the start of the Cup & Saucer Restaurant, and other family restaurants, Delk’s Shoes
and Fred’s Dollar Store.
